This plasma screen displays a resolution of WVGA 852 x 480 pixels and features a contrast of 10000:1, with 16.8 million colours, the brightness being 1500 cd/m2 which only adds up to an amazing amount of high quality, bright clear images, and will display in video,(with a highly integrated scan converter) and images from an array of inputs and formats this also includes DVI-D and the BKM-FW10 is already pre-installed.

The Sony FWD-42PV1 has an incorporated audio amplifier to drive an optional speaker if required, this plasma panel also has technology such as screen burn protection- screen saver, picture orbiting and an auto-dimmer with picture inversion, which helps to prevent unwanted burn-in.
